Trigger warning for @Jaxbuck

Some of them want to quit The Game. Soon they will want to quit the sport. If somehow The Game was moved from end of season, do not replace it with the non rival. Id rather play for illibuck last weekend than always finish vs a non rival.

To paraphrase Clark W Griswold;

Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun old fashioned rivalry. No, no. We're all in this together. This is a full blown, four alarm rivalry domination here. We're going to press on and have the hap-hap-happiest Rivalry since you guys were playing tummy sticks over Desmond Howard and Charles fucking Woodson.

This goes back to my culture of the two programs point. When the Cooper thing was happening, no one was talking about quitting. It was always about getting rid of his moronic ass so we could get a coach in here that could win The Game.

It is about to get worse for them as they continue to bring in fewer talented prospects. Honestly, as I look at Jimmer's seasons, he has done remarkably well for a guy with limited talent. But the talent isn't getting better in Ann Arbor, so his ability to compete is going to wane as well. Patterson was never the savior they hoped for, but chances are, he's better than what will take the snaps next year.

The smug entitled arrogance to think that they can somehow just decree that The Game will be moved and that we, the Big Ten and FOX have no say in the matter. And they can't quit the sport until we pass them for all time Big Ten championships and take the all time series lead.

Harbaugh is a painter of sadness, but instead of charcoal or oils, his medium is bad coaching decisions, and yesterday was his Mona Lisa Of Failure.

Let's not forget to admire the brush strokes of the decision to go for 2 when the XP would have kept it a 2 possession game and failing the 2pt conversion would have left him a 3 possession hole.

He tard lucked his way into converting but I was telling my son as it unfolded, "this might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen him do".

Just the idea of turtling up early in the second half against this team blew my mind. It would have been stupid had he been up two scores. He did it down two scores. Mind numbing level of stupid right there.

Beware my friends - Michigan is catching on.

It can be argued that OSU's fortunes turned with the inception of the Gold Pants tradition.

Well, it looks like Michigan is going with something similar.

Last year we beat them by 23 - a score so bad the coach was motivated to make t-shirts with the score. This was to motivate his players in turn.

This year we beat them by 29. He has no choice but to make another t-shirt.

And two years ago it was the revenge tour. They had t-shirts also. (And I am sure they also have t-shirts from France and wherever else he takes them.)

So we give gold pants to commemorate a win. All our players give these to their Mom's. No real benefit.

Michigan gives t-shirts to commemorate a loss. Something they can actually wear. Imagine the recruiting advantage of offering a kid an entire waist-up wardrobe for a mere 4 or 5 years investment.

Don't sleep on Harbaugh he is playing the long game.

(And don't forget all the free potato salad. I'm just not sure when that will be ready.)

Lots of them are dealing with another asskicking by just saying osu has more talent (usually adding that osu cheats to get said talent cause dfbia). But fuck auburn trails bama in talent to a similar degree, and has the gusbus coaching them, yet they manage to beat saban. It isn't just talent or coaching or wanting/emphasizing the game more. As Jax says, it's the cultures of the two programs, osu wants it and works to keep the dominance, tsun thinks they are owed wins and that the supposed law of averages or karma or what ever else will just give them a victory. I hope they never change.

OSU had more talent in the 90's too.

Once the approach and focus changed, so did the results.
