Sparty colleague sent me this gold: https://www.offtackleempire.com/2019/8/2/20752040/mythigan-football-the-fraud-of-sporting-frauds

Representative quote: "But that doesn’t change the fact Michigan Football is a parlor trick, a fable, a product of media manufacturing. They stacked the deck and have lived for a long time off the illusions of the past."

Doesn't even go into the fact that Mythigan's road games often consisted of them showing up at some little no-name college or HIGH SCHOOL that didn't even play the game, teaching those kids the rules for an hour or so and then beating them 70 to 0. All those "games" are included in tsun's "records."

40-21 over Middle Tennessee State. Underwhelming to say the least. Their offense looked like the same old scUM.
Same players that's why.

They do not have the skill to pull a spread system off. They recruited kids to play in a pro style offense that relied on a running game with multiple tight ends. Now they think they can just run the spread and it'll work?

Morons.

This time they don't have the talent on defense to pick up their sorry ass offense.

UPDATE | OSU fans react to 600-pound Michigan-inspired trash can

There’s a new addition to the Ohio River front. It's big and blue.

Michigan+trash+can1.JPG

A Portsmouth city councilman came up with the idea to create a Michigan-inspired trash can to help keep the city clean and poke fun at the rivalry between The Ohio State University and the University of Michigan.

"I love it cause I hate Michigan,” Portsmouth resident Scott Venturino said.

It also holds pounds of garbage.

"I think it’s a great idea I mean you got to have a place to put your trash and I mean what better place to put it than a Michigan sign,” Ohio State fan Josh Hoskins said.

Buckeye fans in Portsmouth are trash-talking their rival, that team up north, with a 600-pound "Michi-can" on the Ohio River.

"It’s a funny idea because we’re throwing trash in trash,” fan Kyle Shonkwiler said.

Portsmouth councilman Sean Dunne came up with the idea and shared it with other community members.

"Next thing you know I get a picture of the sketch. I’m like this is going to be great,” Friends of Portsmouth member Andrew McManus said.

It was a community effort: Rush Welding & Machine Incorporated built the dumpster, KC Printing & Promotionals created the vinyl letters and members of friends of Portsmouth painted it.

It came to life in about two weeks, just in time for River Days.

"How many times can you say that. ‘I’m excited to throw away a piece of trash’, now you can,” McManus said.

When was Patterson pulled exactly and what was the score at the time? Didn’t watch any of the game so I’m just curious if there’s an argument that the lead was significant and he was yanked.

Sports radio up here said going into the game that Harbaugh wants to play both quarterbacks every game. I didn't watch the scUM game, but McCaffrey coming in doesn't surprise me. I guess my point is, I wouldn't put too much on any 'reason' why McCaffrey went in.
