My only problem with this is that the PedState fans will be in the stadium, too, so they will make more than enough noise for their team.

It also occurs to me as I type this, that there is something deeply ironic about a JoePa protest being centered around silence.

It is precisely because silence is the thing most desired of their critics by the Pedsters that I approve of noisy protest. That they are so obstinately unrepentant necessitates protest that is as visible/audible as possible. They can never be allowed to forget. No one who remembers should ever allow themselves to be voiceless. There was already enough of that imposed on Jerry's victims.

Yes, it's conceptually a nice idea but it will not work in practice. The Cult are convinced that a silent majority support them. Chanting "Joe Knew" would be a much better strategy.

Didn't you mean "victims?"

It might work out perfectly if the Pedsters start chanting "JOEPA" during the protest and expose themselves as the sick cult that they are. Perhaps then not even the meatheads in the booth will be able to ignore it; although I think they'll be under orders from espn to not talk about anything but the foosball.
