ttun Shenanigans and Arguments (2015 official thread)

Wow St. Ed's head coach Rick Finotti to Michigan as football ops guy. Big news. Two-time state champ from one of Ohio's premier programs.

because he can handle things. He's smart. Not like everybody says... like dumb... he's smart and he wants respect.

Usually when you get to Michigan you get exposed..Jiim Harbaugh got exposed in San Fran this year..once exposed it won't end well..Check Urban's first 3 mos to Harbaughs..LOL

Let's not act like like Harbaugh was exactly exposed. His BS with the front office threw the team off a lot. He had several years of success and led San Fran to a SB and several NFC championships . Let's not act like he had no success at San Fran. I think he's created a cute buzz at scUM so far, and everyone figured he would. I don't see him winning any Big 10 chips in the first few years but they'll play with more of a fire than under jHoke. But he doesn't have the talent to stop MSU or OSU or upper tier OOc teams either, but he'll beat Rutgers, IU, etc. Idk how long it'll take to get exposed per se, the only way Harbaugh will truly fail is by shooting himself in the foot again, and pissing off the AD and school board

That is really the question though, what will the scUM faithful consider "success"?

Did they pay him all that money and invest all that hope in the guy just to get back to beating Minnesota again? I think the mandate was pretty clear, get scUM on equal footing with OSU, start winning The Game again and compete for B1G/National Championships.

So, if that is the case then he is going to be measured by how he does head to head with Urban Meyer on the field and the recruiting trail. Harbaugh is solid but I don't think that's a recipe for success for anyone and he is starting from behind.

My money is on Urban Meyer.

If he isn't successful out of the box expect more BS..he made a lot of the calls early on personell and it bit him in the ass last year...I'll say the Ditka, Haraubgh and Knight style doesn't work with today's players..,it will provide a lot of entertainment...
