Apparently he didn't see a judge yet but there is a court record today; an online search revealed that he failed an "alcohol test":

I wonder what the penalty is for failing his probation. As in jail time? Or just extra volunteer work required. And then at Michigan, missing games? Or just no seconds at dinner for a week?

Reports are saying his probation was extended by 6 months. If that's all the courts do, then I'm fine with discipline being handled internally. Now if jail time is added on, he should be booted off the team. But if the court is going to slap you on the wrist, I don't expect a coach to do much more than a wrist slap as well.

According to this chart (below) a 280 lb man must of had between 8 - 10 drinks in the last 1 - 3 hours to score a .086.

And the test was given at 9:59 AM Sunday morning during a period that he was on probation and not allowed to drink. Possibly he had even much more to drink the night before was was just sobering up. I'll bet that this guy is a chronic severe alcoholic or on the verge of becoming one;

my guess is that he definitely has a significant problem here. Whether he plays football or not shouldn't be an issue at this point: he needs help and he needs it right away.
