ttun Shenanigans and Arguments (2015 official thread)

Here are the 7 games I "am planning" for tSUN to lose in 2015: Utah, Oregon State, BYU, Minnesota, MSU, PSU, and tOSU.

I get goosebumps every time I think of all the extra practice tOSU got since last playing MSU-AA:
- extra week for the B1G championship game
- 20 days for the Sugar Bowl
- extra week+ for the title game
Note sure we practiced all that much before the NCG...a lot of recuperating from the physical Alabama game. Still, getting to play against not one but three additional opponents with three different styles is a huge plus...

Don't know if this is off-topic b/c it's not really about football, but it is about tsun. Took this editorial from their student newspaper (via land grant's
twitter) and it's truly one of the most idiotic things I have ever read. https://www.michigandaily.com/opinion/02jesse-klein-relative-wealth16

I don't have the words to describe this . . . yes, idiotic, though so much more awful than that. Doesn't the paper have an editor? The Lantern - all student newspapers - have many faults - but I just can't imagine this story running in The Lantern. I see the commenters are really tearing into the writer. I hope it will teach a never-forgotten lesson to this unbelievably clueless person.

He had an out clause for Ohio State only. If he had an out clause for Michigan while at Florida, why didn't he exercise that after the 2007 season when Llllllloyd Carr "retired"?
I don't know or care to look up specifics, but I remember him having either an out clause or something like no buy out for tOSU, ND, or TSUN while coaching Utah and UF.

He did have an out clause for those 3 teams. Didn't mean because that job came open that he had to take it.

Yeah he did have that clause in his contract at both Utah and Florida.

So if the opportunity presented itself (which it never did) and it was the right time (which it wasn't) then he could make the move with no strings attached.
Bullshit on the opportunity never presenting itself or not the right time since he was coming off a 9-4 season at Florida, Carr had left Michigan, and he was being criticized for winning the national title the year before with mainly Zook's recruits but going from 12-1 to 9-4 with mainly his recruits. It would've been the perfect out for him to go to Michigan...

The author of that "article" is at least three years out of high school and has a few other pieces on the website. In one engaging piece I learned that this "middle-class" out-of-state-tuition-paying student from Palo Alto didn’t get the full Michigan winter experience- she skipped the entire polar vortex because she was studying abroad in sunny Australia.

Among my favorite comments:

Did the Daily recently acquire The Onion?

So he was being criticized so he should have left? They won the NC the following year I think that he knew it wasn't the right time.
