ttun Shenanigans and Arguments (2015 official thread)

He's never said he hates recruiting (at least couldn't find any). Isn't that just speculation? Nothing really fact based

Idk if he hates recruiting, but while at Stanford his highest class was 18... 18 and he was in freaking California! And his highest rated recruits weren't even from CA! I'm not saying he hates recruiting, but he's going to have to step it up if he wants to compete with the talent Urban is bringing in

I really do think that Meyer gets it. :)

There seems to be a depressing amount of talent in the state of North for 2016. The top 10 in that state is all in the top 300 nationally. A lot of it seems predisposed to play for SCUM no matter who is coaching. Per 247:

Hayes 41% scUM, 23% USC
Conley 50% MSU, 42% tOSU
Onwenu 100% tOSU
Hill 80% scUM, 13% PSU
Jordan 100% scUM
Falcon 100% tOSU
Pettaway 92% MSU, 8% scUM
Lukusa, 58% scUM, 33% scUM
Fitzpatrick 50% scUM, 22% UK
Rogers 100% scUM

OSU is going to be the pre season #1, the odds on favorite to capture a B2B NC and will get a top 5 recruiting class (again).

scUM is bringing in Houston rejects to compete with true freshmen for the starting QB job.

OSU has Urban Meyer

scUM does not

I just can't get myself worked up into anything resembling giving a fuck what they do up there right now.

Not that verbals always carry through to signing day, but CB is not worth much. Three you've listed above are already verbals to other schools and many of the CB predictions likely have passed their expiration date.

Couldn't find this post on here but thought it was interesting.

The Hypocrisy of Michigan Fans
6:34 PM

On February 3rd 2006, TWO DAYS AFTER SIGNING DAY which was Feb 1st, Head Coach Lloyd Carr made massive Coaching changes. I'm Sure there was no coincidence in this date. I'm Sure they were not trying to hold to their recruits which included Buckeye offered Justin Boren, and I'm sure this Wilcher loser made a Huge stink about it the week that it happened (not):

-- Defensive Backs coach Ron English left and took a job with the Chicago Bears (A few days later English, who was their best recruiter, was promoted to DC when Jim Hermann 'left' for the NY Jets)
-- Offensive Coordinator Terry Malone left and took a job with the New Orleans Saints.
-- Special Teams coach/recruiting coordinator Mike Debord became Michigan's new Offensive Coordinator.
-- Defensive Coordinator Jim Hermann 'left' to become a coach with the NY Jets
A Buckeye fan posted in 2006:
Wow - 2 days after NLOID - what a coincidence. :roll1:
