ttun Shenanigans and Arguments (2015 official thread)

Yep, Meyer has no clue on how to use running backs:

2012: Carlos Hyde: 185 carries, 970 yards, 5.2 average, 16 TDs
2013: Carlos Hyde: 208 carries, 1,521 yards, 7.3 average, 15 TDs
2014: Ezekiel Elliott: 273 carries, 1,878 yards, 6.9 average, 18 TDs
It seems that no one else has the balls to say what needs to be said.....Fire his ass!!!!

Oh and the best thing about this thread....its only February.

The official did take place on campus. Harbaugh's in home did not take place in the home of Weber.

Wrong. Try again.

The in-home was at the diner (Woody's) and the "official visit" was at Friday night's CT basketball game. There is visual evidence of this and it is a recruiting violation. Trieu came clean first. Webb was pressed on how Weber could be affected by Higdon when they were on their officials together. Then Sam admitted that the official was not on campus and Weber never met Higdon.

Im interested in how well Hairball develops the talent that's at Michigan and then how well he does with next years class.

Tbh this class was really a throwaway. Didn't have much time plus they could only sign what, 16 guys. Add in the fact he was coaching in the nfl and is used to recruiting the west coast. Not defending the shit class they have but it's not a good measure on what he can do.

I want to see him prove he can recruit. He's only have 4 years experience and was average at best. Spare me the Stanford is harder to recruit bullshit.

Funny hearing Michigan fans coming into today thinking they were getting Clark, Weber, and maybe Iman. Then they dismiss those players like they didn't want/need them. Stop drinking the Harbaugh kool aid for one second and open your eyes.

Clark was the one I thought UM stood the most realistic chance with, UCLA must have had put forth a great...........effort. Sounds like Roquan Smith opened his recruiting back up though. I guess the D-cooridinator took an NFL job and was nice enough to wait until most players signed their LOI before announcing it. Smith hadn't signed his those.

Saw hairball on BTN last night talking about his class. Dude looked bored, uninterested and spoke with the personality and charisma of a road kill zombie. I can't see him in college coaching more than 3 years max.
One of the reason so many people seemed to think that he would stay in the nfl was because he doesn't enjoy the recruiting/pandering part of being a college coach. He loves coaching, and working with young kids, but hates the other stuff. Obviously that's all second hand stuff, but it makes sense given his personality. I tend to agree that once another attractive NFL opening is there, he'll head back. Don't know when that will be, because there are rumors out there that part of the agreement with the Niners to get out of his contract was to stay out of the NFL for xx number of years. But I don't see him in college for the long run.

I think the fact he left SF w/o either side buying out the contract points to this. Otherwise why not make tsun pony up 5 mil? Probably 2-3 years, though SF probably could only legally enforce a one year absence based on the remaining contract. At the very least every attractive NFL opening (so not the browns) will involve rumors about harbaugh and other teams will be telling recruits that hairball isn't planning on being there long term. That might have been a factor in so many croots picking other schools yesterday rather than the rockstar croot magnet so many up north expected.
