We’ll be OK losing a top 5 in-state DB that is a track kid who PR’d a 23.34 200 meter, because we already have loads of DBs that can run with OSU WRs on crossing routes and jet sweeps.

Their savior is regressing to hold the rope levels of recruiting. If I told you that you could pick up the record needle and start playing the album all over again starting with the RichRod era, would you go for it?

I mean… there is that one loss in there… so it’s not 100% clear to me that I’d risk it.

I honestly think their fanbase would still pick Hairball over RichRod

Harbaugh isn't even going to have enough talent to have that 1 above average season that gets him a contract extension. That is concerning to me.

I still think they keep him in the end. Who else is there for them?
The pipedream of getting Fickell just isn't realistic, IMO

Valenti on Friday was calling out their approach to NIL as bizarre with how much they’re dragging their feet and/or just not embracing it. Having arguably your top athlete publicly saying this has to have an impact:

I suspect we’d be in the same boat under a Holbrook/Geiger/Tressel regime. We are lucky to have Johnson/Smith/Day to navigate this era.

The excuse would work a lot better if the sucking didn’t proceed the incompetent application of NIL by more than a decade.

I’m pretty sure they’re using sucking at applying NIL as proof they never cheated previously as well. Which, of course, ignores several high profile examples of documented cheating in the Fab 5 and Woodson.

Im sure they stopped cheating right when the sucking started.

Ya know, as long as they're sucking I'm fine with any excuse they choose to get themselves through the night...
