On to the #629 composite, #92 DL... from Canada! So hopefully they don’t have to compete with anyone for his signature in line with their probably actual strategy.

Best listed offers look like Arizona St, Kansas, Kansas St, West Va, Purdue, Indiana, Ga Tech... Tenn., but since they just landed the other guy presumably they’re out.

I'll never understand tossing out so many of these types of offers when it's still relatively early in the recruiting cycle. It's almost as if these "young" coaches they hired, seemingly solely to punch up their recruiting are no different from the guys they've replaced.

Well... he'll own the poutine NIL market. So, there's that.

It's the "who in the top 1000 can we go after that wont take much effort" strategy

Hilariously when one of these kids actually starts getting some kind of attention elsewhere they kick Michigan to the curb

Another Florida 3* they had penciled in, LB Micah Pollard. Is now trending heavily toward Auburn. Another hilarious reaction will ensue. Auburn Insider CB to them and Lorenz flipped CB from Michigan to Auburn in the last 2 days

Just hate to see it.

Who woulda thought putting your coach on a perpetual one year contract could adversely impact recruiting? Not saying they were killing it before...they weren't...but this makes the slope more slippery. I hope it fricken' hurts.

I don't think the contract matters as much as the sub par product he's been putting on the field, the non stop talking even though the team still looks like hot garbage, and pretty much making himself as a HC and the program look like the laughingstock on CFB. When there are graphics made comparing him to cHoke, and everyone knew that cHoke wasn't an elite coach, yet Hairball was supposed to be. Not to mention, what recruit wants to go to a schol that has close to no chance at beating their biggest rival, and their "little brother" rivalry isn't so set in stone anymore.

I really think Harbaugh just does not like recruiting. It’s becoming more and more obvious he doesn’t want to put effort into it. Unless the kids a layup you really don’t see them battling for any top guys. Not that they’d get them but they seemingly don’t even really try. Just toss out a bunch of offers to a bunch of lower level guys and hope they end up working out.

That matched with unproven relatively unknown assistants and a bad on field product to sell is not a winning combo to say the least.

I wonder if he doesn't like recruiting, or if it's more that his assistants are just so inexperienced. I mean he hired guys almost solely on youth(and partially on race). He's touted that there's music at practice now, like it's a revolutionary thing that no other coach has done before. It's to the point where OSU's second string would beat the brakes off of scUM's starters. And the loophole to hire family members is closed, as is the satellite camps, so his gimmicks have been shut down. He has to actually recruit, and he can't keep up with that staff. And it's not like the previous staff was any better. Once he got the 5stars and their coaches, he found out former HS coaches are in over their heads in CFB recruiting.

Remember when Harbaugh did “signing with the stars” or whatever and got some wrestler from the 80s to show up? Why aren’t kids into the shit Harbaugh thought was cool three decades ago anymore? It’s perplexing why he can’t connect with them. But not really...
