Harbaugh wrecks kids who come with actual skill sets and they really think hes going to develop a major project.

Maybe the idea is to bring in a rag armed back foot thrower and play the double negative angle?

Jimmy is playing chess while the rest of us play checkers.

Some of his throws did remind me of that spinning throw JJ McCarthy recently did—falling away and off target, but with no spin!— that was supposed to be impressive.

Reflecting on how they generally seem to operate on the recruiting trail, it really doesn’t feel like they even identify a big board with ranked priorities—which is evidenced by the hilarious lack of name dropping of alternatives when they claim they “passed over someone.”

It feels like they just hand out offers like passing a “do you like me, check yes or no” note in class and are just happy when someone shows interest back.

Should we try to hold off on a commitment from this QB we just offered at camp as we try to pursue some of our other targets? They either don’t have other targets identified, or they’re just super excited when someone checks ‘yes’ and they don’t worry about the rest.

Either way, it’s a fascinating mess to observe, especially in juxtaposition to the well oiled machine that is Ohio State.

They’re missing Matty Dudek.

So essentially they're the desperate, ugly, stoner who sits in the back of class and shoots his shot until the class tubby takes him up on his offer

Hey, just so long as they don't ruin the academic integrity of the kinesiology department. That's what is really important. Touchdowns will just have to take a backseat. I mean... this is football we're talking about.

The "all players from Florida (the south in General), Texas, California are good" strategy is in full effect.

It really is like a Indiana level strategy. Throw darts at lower rated kids from big football states and hope they really were undervalued and just got lost in the shuffle of all the other players there.

You may get lucky here and there but its not a long term big time winning strategy.

But, Indiana actually developes their players and doesn't have half the team transfer.
