also landed #9 4* DL Titan Davis and have received other 4* Crystal balls recently. Not saying they are reeling in 5* studs But definitely have been active lately.

DL and TE are about the only positions they consistently recruit pretty well at.

Even then these positions I wouldn't call them near "elite" at

Its not near enough to make up for the major lacking elsewhere. They aren't doing anything different than they were during Harbaugh. Without the cheating scheme they are a 3-5 loss team in most seasons. (10-3 was their peak pre cheating with Harbaugh)

They are also stuck in that stone aged system on offense, we hear every year about how it's going to be "different" but it's always the same crap. Even when they have landed higher rated WRs they have completely botched them.

TTUN recruiting has certainly been picking up recently. Recruits must be buying into the idea that punishment for their multi year cheating scandal will not post season ban or other limitations going fwd. We will see

They have significantly turned on the NIL machine all of a sudden, the timing seems rather convenient considering everything else going on. We will see how it all plays out in the end though if it can actually hold up. With our without NCAA sanctions.
