This might be me talking with maize colored glasses, but this kinda feels like a mutual parting of the ways. Williams has kinda slowly falling in the ranking a bit, Michigan has been recruiting other DL targets for a while, and Williams has been taking visits to other lesser programs for a little while.

Benny Patterson is their new savior now.

Hilarious watching them trying to justify that their recruiting ranking wise downgrades are actually big upgrades

They lost the #62 overall player in the composite (#7 S) to Bama but poached the #190 overall player (#13 S) from Pitt and according to them they are the winners in that deal

That was the exact thing I was going to say. Between the horrible results this year and what I believe is the general knowledge of sanctions coming, scUM faces some serious challenges on the recruiting front. You hate to see it happen...
I wonder if the asterisk on his post was intentional, because if so...

What are the chances Underwood actually signs with Michigan? This feels like a situation where the kid flips again at the last minute. Has never seemed like he actually wants to be at Michigan. Unless they just came up with enough money where he couldn't say no,

I think the money spoke loud enough for him to sign. Now the question will be if he stays there long term
