I'm not sure why I'm defending this, but I really don't think that's what he said or meant. I mean, what the fuck do you want him to say? "Yeah, this game destroyed us and we should just quit"? They asked him what was his legacy going to be at OSU and he said he will be remembered as being 0-2 against dUMb. He also said he did everything he could to win the game.

Listen, I was (and still am) livid about this fucking game. On Saturday i wanted to punch a smug Michigan fuck right in the face. Even that drunk chick in the gif. (Maybe especially?) but goddamn, I really don't think he meant "it's just one game". They need to regroup, win their bowl game or, if they're lucky enough, get ready for revenge in the CFP. They need to move forward. I think that's what he's saying. I'm not sure what's wrong with that.

That may be true, with the stupid ass "game plan" they had in the second half Stroud was basically limited in what he could do until it was much too late.

If I'm a elite QB looking at Ohio State and Ryan Day, i'm thinking twice after watching him basically take his "elite" QB out of the game by resorting to a bunch of WR screens and awful RB pitch plays.

OK. It's a semi-pro era. Work a package into the NIL agreements that includes post-TSUN win activities and cash, post-conference win activities and cash, and post-NCF game activities and cash, and post-NC game activities and cash, which only take place if the game is won. It's not an incentive, but I don't really think that these players NILs are of such use to sponsors if they lose, so split it up. Let them put some skin into it. I'm not talking pay to play, I'm saying that sponsors will have specific activities after wins to boost their brands and the players will benefit as a result.

It’s not pay to play. It’s pay to win.

Bonuses for advertising at victory parades is a great idea.

Did he mean regroup as in ‘team’ or I have to regroup and get prepared for the draft. The future defines me not my past attitude.

Not sure if this has been posted.
As is well documented I’m not a fan of Parker Fleming. Nothing against him but the dedicated ST coach.
I would show him this and give him the option of moving on or taking a demotion to an analyst role. Not like he would be missed recruiting.
This might of been a TD.

What an absolute cluster fuck of a game. Whole team running around with their head up their ass.

I remember this play but didn't realize it was supposed to be a fake.
I thought it was a communication issue with the punter because the blockers went one way and the punter the other.

Isn't Ord a huge detractor of him as well?

But yeah my brother sent me this earlier in the form a reddit thread cause I watched at his house and noticed the horrible snap live and just thought it punter moved to the right too early

Were they practicing this all week or all year or was it a desperation play from a panicked coach. We probably will never know kind of like injuries.

Absolutely a team loss:
- this ST play is a killer
- offense tanked in the second half (3 pts!)
- but, mein Gott, defense giving up 45 pts (and no freebie short field points)

Somehow, ttun has two straight years with great OL play after having crap OLs for several years.
Completely dominated the last two games.

Yeah I'd prefer going for it with Stroud considering the way he responded to 1 and 35 that drive over doing that especially on 4th and 11 as opposed to 4th and 6 but it does make me feel better about Day understanding the moment. Even if I don't agree with how he went about it.

It also points to us being tight and having our assholes so puckered we couldn't get out of our own way which is what a lot of the first half looked like

I think COVID year is going to be a big help to those teams that rely on 4th and 5th year seniors.

I don't think they were that old on the line this year but it felt like last year it certainly helped them get over the hump.
