ttun News (2016 version)

Ya know, as much I enjoy watching TSUN fail and suffer on the football field, I can think of no better way to conclude the regular season than by not only defeating them again, but destroying their play off dreams on a cold afternoon in Columbus. This year's edition of, "The Game," could very well ve the best since 2006!!

I wouldn't get my hopes up. Seriously.

They haven't played anyone yet and the weaknesses are obvious.

People keep wishing for huge years, major progress and major building blocks for Harbaugh just so they can enjoy a more satisfying victory.

I get respecting the rivalry and looking forward to an epic clash. Part of me does hope for that and I feel differently about Michigan than a program like PSU (which can keep getting Templed and Pitted all day every day). I just recognize that the crazy part of me that wants a great clash is daring Michigan to bring about great weeping and gnashing of teeth in ohio.

the difference to me is wishing for it and just being ok with it should it happen

I'll be damned if I ever emit out into the universe one atom of positive karma for tsun.

If they end up having the kind of year that makes The Game bigger, then so be it.

I understand the love of wanting to relive a #1/#2 matchup, but that's a ton of risk. You want them to come in undefeated and strong with the ability to beat Ohio state? Not me. I want them to have 5-6 losses, perpetual jokes about how bad Harbaugh sucks, and a gigantic beat down sending the Vulvarines to the CarCareBowl.

I don't want them going undefeated (minus 1), I don't want them to go to a good bowl, I don't want them to have any happiness at all. In fact, I want to see their coaching carousel continue because of the comic relief surrounding it.

Ohio State doesn't need scUM to be good to get in the playoffs, we just need to win the conference.

This. Especially since they really have no more of a "Michigan man" coaching tree anymore. They ventured out to R-Rod and went back after that epic fail. Seriously, what option would they turn to if Aspboogers fails? Let the comedy ensue.

Au contraire. A meteor strike in South Bend is good for everybody!

Aren't they renewing their "rivalry" with scUM?
Just saying....

People keep wishing for huge years, major progress and major building blocks for Harbaugh just so they can enjoy a more satisfying victory.

The consequences in recruiting would be tangible imo
A top10 finish this year would cement Harbaugh and start bringing in recruits... of course, the hope there is that it'd also attract the attention of the NFL again.

I think he'll consistently put out 9/10 win teams in Ann Arbor. So in one sense the greatest possible calamity is that he does finish with 1 loss this year. Then runs off to the NFL and they're left holding their dicks and ... what then? Begging RichRod to come back?
