Much as I'd like to continue ragging on the hated fucking Weasels, this one looks like a pretty good team. Plenty of time for Beilein to jump the shark, of course, but with Burke on board that may prove more difficult this season.

Duke plays defense, I will wait and see what effect that has on the vulvarienes.

I didn't see anything but the box score from the Memphis game but they had to have been getting a ton of easy layups from back cuts or just general shoddy Memphis D. They were damn near 60% from the field and the ratio of 2's to 3's was not the usual 50%.

My sense of it is that when that's taken away they go right back to chucking 3's on volume and hitting their usual 30-35%.

UM shooting over 83% in the second half, scored more in the last 9 minutes than the entire first half. Duke still maintaining a 53-47 edge.

Michigan gets a stop... then Novak gets stuffed on the 2 ft jumper.

Followed by a Duke 3, 63-48.

More FTs coming up for Michigan as Hardaway beats his man, then jumps backwards away from the rim to draw contact.

The more I watch college basketball, the more I realize there is an over abundance of mediocre ranked teams.

Michigan probably should be ranked, but not because they are that good. I just don't see too many good teams outside the top 5-10 teams.
