Shocking turnaround this year for UM after a 1-6 start to Big Ten play & 6-game losing streak in January.
That turnaround was against a pretty soft schedule. Their best win this year is either Harvard or Clemson. They deserve some credit for not rolling over like most scUM teams have (that may be all the youth), but they're still not a very good team. Better than I thought they'd do this year, no doubt, but they haven't beat anybody of note all year...not that sweeping shitty sparty teams should feel any less fine for the dorks.

Apparently, Darius Morris started jawing at Lucas at the end of the game and they had to be separated, Morris allegedly yelled at him to "get the fuck off my court". Act like you've been there before, chump. Oh wait, you haven't. :roll1:

it is a humorous reversal of their typical roles... I'm just glad we kicked the shit out of them on the hardwood and the gridiron
Something, something, pride before the fall...

MSU looks like they might be down for a while. They are much less talented now IMO than they have been for over a decade...

I don't know...something about a kid who really hasn't accomplished jack shit aside from beating a mess of a sparty team talking shit to a guy that's been to a pair of final fours and won some conference titles is a little idiotic.

talking about their career average numbers, they are in the same galaxy. The numbers don't lie.

as to 07, obviously all the accolades that Malone racked up is the reason he's a HOF and Webber won't be. Which goes back to my point of had the Kings won at least one championship while he was there, it would have bolstered his chances because his numbers are on par with several other HOF, as well as Garnett, who is sure to be a HOF as well.

If I was being homeristic I would just sit here saying he's in, he's in, he's in, he's in......but i'm not. There are arguments both for and against him going. Probably 60/40 split favoring NOT going in.

you guys are just being reverse homers.......

I stopped watching that shit when I realized all pro sports are fixed...I had friends that were shocked when those offcials got busted for point shaving...I laughed in their faces. The refs have been cheating for decades...baseball is even worse. The NBA is a complete joke...who gives a shit.

And Kalin Lucas was the Big Ten POY in 2009.

And that layup against a team sagging back in the lane (because the game was over) brought his total to a whopping 13 pts, half of Lucas' production.

Hardaway kept pace with Lucas, not Morris, who was 20% from the floor before that layup.

All that matters is the scoreboard. Whether your playing a pickup game with friends or big time college basketball, trash talking is going to happen.

I agree with this.

A certain type of person is always going to run his suckhole, no matter what.

could have done without Morris' antics at the end. But I did love getting the victory. Especially after Lucas was running down the court with that big shit eating grin on his face with about 5 minutes left and they had cut the lead to 6.

First time since 97 UM has beat MSU twice in one season. Crazy. Whether MSU is down or not, it's still a big deal.

to put it into perspective, do osu fans enjoy beating Michigan less since they've been down? I didn't think so.

very surprised this team won as many games as it did. I thought for sure they would struggle to win 15

good luck vs Wisconsin today
