So I went back and watched the ending:

UW hits a 3
UW Calls TO to put walkons in. Could've easily done that with a 18 pt lead not 21.
Mich draws a foul, hits FTs.
UW doesn't press, let's them dribble across, then forces steal.
Mich has a layup.
Mich pressuring inbounds, the walkons nearly turn it over.
UW calls a TO to reset 10 sec clock.
Howard unhappy, all 10 guys are in the back court, he tells them to foul to send a message.
Howard skips beginning of hand shake line, gets in at end...

... then the part we've all seen.


If anyone wanted to behave like a man in that situation (Howard, Gard or Krabby), the timeout/fouls are a silly talking point on twitter. Instead, they went full baseball with the unwritten rules and Howard's likely on his last legs of coaching.

Howard will do it again. He's a hot head and seems to be unable to control his emotions. This isn't goofy ass Simple Jim throwing tantrums on the sidelines. This dude just swung st somebody and had to be restrained from a physical altercation with an opposing HC last year. He's had a couple of other run ins in post game situations as well. His demeanor and attitude in his post game presser was a guy that either didn't think he did anything wrong or didn't care if he did.

That scUM thinks his continued employment is wise says all you need to know about that insular _ichigan _an bullshit.

First let me say, 1) fuck scUM and all things related, 2) Howard should be fired after this, 5 games is a joke.

Ironically, the conference going soft on scUM is likely a result of OSUs overwhelming dominance across multiple popular sports. The B1G so desperately wants to be the SEC of the north so they recognize they need 2-3 nationally dominant programs to prop up and keep winning. As great as Purdue or Indiana can be in basketball, they aren’t the same branding power as scUM. Now, I’m not insinuating that they go out of their way to find ways to get them off of everything, but I am saying that when things like this come up, they will continue to protect the brand over the ethics. It’s sad, it sucks, but it’s reality - at least IMO.

He even said I'll remember that timeout like an insecure little bitch. Like it was the 4th quarte at the 2 yard likne with 5 seconds left and you called it to get another TD. Instead you know walkons that were flustered that you were pressing them with starters
