welp, i dances with the devil enough times this year without getting burned, that it was time for my shoes to catch fire.

by this time tomorrow things should be at roughly peak nastiness.

National Hurricane Center has me on the “good” eye wall.
HWRF model (most accurate so far this season) has me directly in the shit.

drove in to the office this morning.
yeah we going without juice for a while.

power lines down everywhere. some in bayous.

big ass shrimp boat laying on its side in the bayou in front my street.
on the opposite bank it was originally tied to.

big tree limbs in damn near every yard. roofing shingles scattered all over the damn place.
