Okay, what the hell. I have been out of the loop and people are freaking out here. I am in "zone 1" or the worst evacuation zone. I can only assume that this is just the media loving to talk about NY, but everyone is stalking up on water and stuff. I bet floridians are laughing at us.

Edit: wanted to correct "stalking," but too funny to fix.
I'd go with "Floridians are laughing at us for different reasons than they normally laugh at us."

You call that living??????!!! Whoa!! I went to a barbecue at my married
North Dakota neighbor's back yard. I asked him, "Is that a prairie dog?"

He said, "Hey.....in North Dakota the bride selection is limited..."

heavens to betsy. i'm leaving the island tomorrow morning. everything west of the cip is going to be a nightmare. the plan was to play a few days of poker at parx (northeast philly), but that means taking the belt parkway, aka the worst stretch of the road in the world... save for the major deegan.

Pffft. And you said I shouldn't make the drive tomorrow. We're at the point on the coast where NC and SC meet. No yellow there!
