Wall Street is sea level. Uh Oh! It won't take much to make another island out of that area. Once a little water hits all those electrical lines!!!!!!!Stock up on bottled water and non-perishables. Have a battery powered radio. And a Bear Gryl's survival knife! :tongue2:

It started raining in the Baltimore area a couple of hours ago. I have been watching the “Weather Channel” coverage and can’t help thinking that it is like watching a weather version of the “Jackass” movies. I keep waiting to see if one of the idiots that is standing out in the middle of the hurricane ends up getting himself killed.

Parts of Boston are already starting to flood, and the hurricane doesn't even hit until early tomorrow.

The main drag through Chestnut Hill seems to flood every time it rains hard.

It's raining like a mofo here in NH already. Irene is headed straight at my house, but we get blizzards with similar winds and 2+ feet of snow, so I'm not worried.

The radar that I've been looking at must be wrong, it doesn't show much activity up that way but it's a coming.
