Trey DePriest (former LB Alabama)

The staff urged him to come down one more time this week...

Price and Crowell this year...Ross, Rippy and Perry next year [hopefully]...OSU will be fine.

Bino-Klein-Moeller* is a pretty good trio. When they need a third lb on the field, bell/sweat/mcvey should produce one decent option. Durham is more likely to backup bino, whiting for klein.

If sabino continues to progress, they could try to work him and newsome onto the field together.

But all of this worrying assumes osu does not find a couple of quality backers. Once osu gives us a reason to worry about cb and lb development, then I will start considering it.

Development or recruitment? Is there a question about how the CBs and LBs are being developed?

Good luck to Trey if he choosed Bama.

Bama has recruited the nation very well, especially considering their plethora of talent instate alone. Trey's going to an elite program, no doubt about it. I wish him the best and as I do with all recruits OSU has missed out on, I'll continue to watch him develop and grow.

On a second note, I'm not sure I'm down with the whole family packing up to move thing either. Obviously, they can do whatever they want but for crying out loud, the kid's going to college. Let him go to college, football season is only like 20 percent of the year. I can't imagine my parents moving to see me play a college sport, although I'm sure they'd love to attend a few games. You wanna see your kid play? Well you had plenty of time to do it in highschool, now lets grow up a little bit. This is a sport, but college itself is where kids turn into adults. Are they going to move to California if he accepts a job there and plays intramural softball? Come on....
