The problem is that there's no surprise there. If Braxton is taking the snap, you might as well rush everyone but your safeties.
Braxton should be getting the ball on sweeps and tunnel screens if they want him in the center of the field. That way you can use him as a decoy to get guys like Mike and JM open.

The 1st quarter on D didn't look good. WMU was dominating the LOS
2nd quarter much better with the adjustments. Dline pinching inside and LB cleaning up on the outside.
Nice pressure on the QB in the 2nd quarter along with better tackling.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooo glad to see Lee got back in the game.
Lot's of holding going on by the WMU OL on pass plays
Special teams playing lights out!!

Yeah. I want to see Braxton get plenty of touches, but not this way, or at least not in the middle of a drive. Maybe in the redzone where there is an actual threat of a short throw. Otherwise no.

I'd really like it if they scrap the Braxon wildcat offense. I'd also love it if they'd give Zeke more touches up the middle.

Agreed. That Braxton fumble was a drive-killer. And I don't recall the wildcat with Braxton at QB doing anything great so far this year. Let's shelf that play.
