CJ held the ball too long for that situation. Wouldn't have been a chance for that call if he throws it away before he's being tackled.

Still in the pocket and threw it into the stands. No one would be questioning that call had it been WMU on offense.

The officiating has been absolutely terrible. There is no excuse for that intentional grounding calls. The trajectory of that pass was no more than ten degrees off and the pressure on Jones made it a hurried pass. Who paid these idiots?

Whatever. Lot's of ugly that half, but ultimately a lot of good things as well. Playcalling is still odd, imo... and Cardale is making a lot of "freshman" errors for a guy with 5 years in the system.

This defense, as long as they don't have any major injuries will be the reason for any late season success if the O can even get close to catching up.
