@NFBuck said it - until this team shows it can win with defense without Jim Tressel on the sideline, nothing has changed.

And honestly, I don't think this offensive scheme is going to be successful without a superior athlete at QB. Ball distribution is great, but if they can put 5 or 6 guys in the box and stop every interior run play, it's just not going to work very well. There is no lead blocker and it's very easy to try to run everything to the edges.

Backs can't cover the fact your guards don't hold up in protection. That said, getting the ball out of your hands in space to said backs on a linebacker or even a safety helps slow that pass rush down.

Even if the fly sweep is unsuccessful, it still slows down the DE's a bit.
