Game Thread tOSU vs. Rutgers (Homecoming), Oct 18th @ 3:30pm ET, ABC/ESPN2

Skull Session is 2 hours before kickoff. You'll want to get there early.

You want to be in the stadium for the band entrance. This begins at 20 minutes prior to kickoff. If you are on the visitors side allow some extra time because the primary entrance is blocked off before the band enters and it can be a PITA to get to that side of the stadium.

It's homecoming so if you want to see Script Ohio you may have to wait until after the game if the homecoming festivities take too long.

I get to take my wife of 14 years to this game. Will be her first game and I am so excited! Any advice for what I should take her too. Also times of when things would start. OH!

That's awesome, every gameday experience is a great one. Definitely hit the Skull Session in St. Johns, I believe it is 2 hours before kickoff (?...correct me if I am wrong). Be in the stadium a half hour before kickoff, the band coming in is incredible. Those are the definite gameday traditions to partake in.

Everyone suggests Lane St. bars on gameday but they are insanely packed then...if you can go on Friday or Sunday, by all means check them out (I like Varsity Club the best of all of them). Little Bar is also great on High St. and not far from 'Shoe at all. For food (if you are not from Columbus anyways) you can't beat either Thurman's (one of the best burgers I've had) or Adriaticos (best pizza I have had, hand over my heart). Adriaticos is in south campus and pretty limited seating, but the pizza is the best.

All bets are off this season because it's a WIDE OPEN field......and 4 teams get to tango so I really hope we come out on fire and absolutely obliterate Rutgers. For some reason that's what I see. I'm thinking 38 points in first half and we finish out 55-17 but I truly hope we hold them to 10 or less with their loan TD coming in garbage time. Damn we need a thorough beat down in the worst way.
