Game Thread tOSU vs. Rutgers (Homecoming), Oct 18th @ 3:30pm ET, ABC/ESPN2

Curb stomping... mark it down and quote this after it has commenced 10/18. Nova who threw 5 INTS against PSU is going to come in and go off on us? Umm no. All 4 of Cincinnati's WRs would start over there's and I'd take the top 2 of Marylands as well they do not have the play makers to do what Cincinnati did (plus we saw growth against Maryland which is far better out wide).

Do you know what 400 yards passing got Rutgers against scUM? 26 freaking points and that's because they have zero running threat with their RB out. We just held a better offense to 24 with Maryland and 28 to Cincinnati. So unless a defense who gave up 24 to scUM hires Bud Foster there ain't no way they're holding us to anything less than 35.

I'd be shocked if it was close and to be honest disappointed. 41 to 14 good guys

Did you just say "Michigan played Rutgers pretty tough and they could have won that game." and "I just think Rutgers is a good football team" in the same post?

Is there anything wrong with what I posted. ??

In addition to this, Gary Nova. Nuff said.
This x 1000. I'd rather face Gary Nova than Marylands backup QB. I think it's because of Gary that we will come away from this game talking about a great defensive performance.

If they had trouble scoring, avoiding turnovers, protecting their QB and moving the ball on PSU they will struggle against us as well.

No, nothing. Other than the fact that you're using contradictory statements in back to back sentences. If Michigan played Rutgers pretty tough and could have won the game, Rutgers is therefore not a good football team.
Okay, I understand.....Maybe I see and watch football games in a different way from a lot of you guys out there.
I just can't pre-judge another football team until the game has been played. Maybe we will "CurbStomp" Rutgers, when
they come into the shoe. That remains to be seen. Rutgers will come into Ohio State and give us their best shot.

Do you think Michigan is a good football team? They aren't. Therefore a Rutgers win against Michigan doesn't prove a damned thing.

Agreed. That makes them dangerous but no different than any other team that comes to the Shoe.

I get what you're saying in that "any given Saturday" scenario and I'm not piling on. Most here feel that Rutgers is justs outmanned. Throw in the fact it's Homecoming and that leads some to believe it could get UGLY.

My thinking was that, with all the talent that Michigan had, it's sad to see their program in such dis- array
I know that there a lot of Michigan haters out there, and I know that....but they are our biggest rivalry.
I just wanted to watch Michigan come out and be a competitive against Rutgers. That is all that I meant, in my original post
