Obviously, The Game is the greatest rivalry humankind has ever seen. However, having lived in Kansas for a total of 4+ years and worked with plenty of people from Illinois, there is a pure, high level of hatred for the entire state of Missouri. Jayhawk fans hate those cocksuckers and are still pissed they left for the SEC.
Fuck driving through that state on I-70 at night. Fuck the Chiefs. Fuck the greatest show on turf. Fuck the SEC SEC SEC. And most importantly, fuck the Missouri Tigers!!!

It's an interesting dynamic growing up in Southern/Southeastern Illinois, far closer to STL than Chicago, I am a Cardinals and Blues fan (and former) Rams fan, frankly, that just adds to the rivalry for me and makes it even more personal, the Mizzou slobbering in the St. Louis media makes you hate the fuckers quickly.
It may technically be in Missouri, but there's an assload of Illinois alums in St. Louis, there's a reason the Cardinals have done an "Illini Night" at Busch Stadium in the past, so we can claim it as far as I'm concerned

When has that ever happened? Yeah, MH Jr is probably not playing, but it could be a somewhat surprising advantage.
Hear me out. With MH Jr, you know where the ball is going. With Egbuka, X, Tate, Innis, Stover, etc., you have no idea where the ball is going and maybe we spread out the love for a change. No double coverage because there is nobody to double cover. Plus Henderson and Hayden.
I actually am thinking we win this one...all the players announcing they will play, and giving Day and the crew so much time the scheme it up. Plus the Mizzou players out with injuries. I think this might be a fun game to watch at this point.
