From everything I saw Brown was getting starter reps leading up to this game - they weren't splitting them - so it'd be rough to just send Kienholz out there and say "Go get 'em, kid."
Like a lot of folks I was hoping they'd prepare and play both of them but Day didn't see it that way. He said "This is Devin's game", but it may not be now.

Agreed… I know he’s trying to gut it out but this isn’t like Wisconsin when Kyle came up lame with 6 minutes left.
Way too much game left to have Devin out there gimping around. Sucks man but sometimes it’s better for the team if you sit down when you’re hurt.
