I get the lack or prep time, but I don't think tired legs will be an issue. Our whole 2 deep could beat the Rainbows and we get a fresh Bosa and 3 WR's to raise some hell. I'd look for some subs early and often to make sure legs don't become an issue.

Another key: the Rainbows will be kicking off at 9:30 in the morning so that might be an issue for them.

Typically I'd say thats a pretty decent outlook but this season the second string is going to feature a potential Heisman candidate at QB and ridiculous skill players on offense so most teams are still going to be hard pressed to keep them from scoring. The defense is getting some really good young players time in games as well so I don't see a cliff-like drop off when the starters come out of games so if they get 38 in the first half, 21 is very reasonable in the second half only leaving a single TD from the Over. You can probably guess which direction I'm leaning.

Hard to believe it has been so long. I'd like to think it will be a crazy environment welcoming home the defending National Champions for at least a quarter.

not that I'm saying it will be easy on them, but I actually think they might enjoy it. Something pretty cool about playing in a place with that many folks watching.

I think the weather may matter too - it's going to be rainy/damp and in the mid-60s when they start warm ups.

So, first time taking one of the kids to a Buckeye game tomorrow... Usually we are in the bus lots all day, but that tradition is on hold this year... What are some kid-friendly things to do near the stadium ahead of time? Skull Session seems like a must for a first-timer, so what else? Isn't there someplace with like bounce houses and/or other family activities? I'll hang up and listen.

They will have some (not a whole lot) displays, booths, concessions, and/or participation activities on the "lawn area" in front of the ice rink and ROTC building.

P.S. Too bad that they demolished the Buckeye Hall Of Fame Cafe it had a real nice "game room", etc.

IIRC, those things are usually right outside of St. John, on the stadium side.
