tOSU Transfer Portal Recruiting Discussion

Maybe too strong agree, but Scum is getting their NIL game in order, and if we lose 4 and 5 stars because of NIL to those A-Holes, to me that is a huge decline. Lol

This was a couple weeks ago before OSU finally got their NIL ducks in a row. Which seemed to happen overnight.

This is why freaking out in the moment doesn't make sense to me. It was clear from the moment the scUM game ended that things were going to change and while the Cotton Bowl sucked, the tree didn't stop shaking because of it and may have shook even harder in any case.

Relax..... it was hardly a freak out. OSU's NIL game was a mess. I didn't really sense change on that end until the Bjork hire.

Jeez again relax.

If he'll help the Buckeyes, go for it. The worst he can tell us is NO. Or possibly hell no, but at least you've given it your best shot. Do like that Day & Co are going for guys that fit the culture at tOSU. There's alot of teams out there that are going after the guys that a) want NIL $; b) want a chance at a nati; c) are running from a bad situation; d)?. Couple of teams come to mind, but there's things you must consider if you're willing to risk your $7-10 million salary on (same for transient coaches). Actually, if players bolt because you're bringing in people over them, maybe you need to look in the mirror, and determine if you might be better off at another university. Anyone ever leave their corporate home for a greener grass scenario? I certainly have, some worked out, some did not. But it was best option/solution at the time. Glad I'm retired now....

Maybe Joey should have a beer with the Borman (?) kids. Actually, he might have a bigger impact on the baseball team, he might hit better than a buck fifty with more than several dingers. Glad he left the darkside. Go Bucks!

Transfer portal team rankings: Ole Miss solidifies top class as Texas A&M, Oregon, Ohio State flex

The final numbers are here after an eventful National Signing Day.

8. OHIO STATE BUCKEYES (60.3)

Number of transfers: 7
The Buckeyes landed a handful of immediate-impact starters this transfer cycle after they were tied with Clemson with zero portal additions around Christmas. A lot has changed since for Day, who has convinced a pair of Alabama five-stars, a multi-year starter from Kansas State and Quinshon Judkins, one of the SEC's top playmakers from Ole Miss, to join him in 2024. Don't be surprised if Ohio State's roster is the most-talented in college football nationally when spring practice begins.

Just sayin': It's interesting to see the number of transfers some schools got...Louisville - 26, Colorado - 24, and South Carolina - 20.
