Game Thread tOSU @ Sparty, Nov 8th @ 8pm ET, ABC

Hopefully Nebraska continues to win and slips into the top ten. That would be a great way to close out by beating a top ten team in the conference championship game.

Yep. In a perfect world, Nebraska will decisively win everything against everyone but us, so will Minnesota after this week-end, and Sparty will be so pissed off about losing their NC shot that they proceed to trounce every other team they play from now to Thanksgiving.

JFC, it's a simple concept really...the result of MSU's drive would be us leading 35-21 instead of only 28-24. There's the 11-point swing. Anything happening after is moot.

Uh, yeah I understand what you are saying.

Obviously a 11 point lead is more comfortable than a 4 point lead, but given the fact that we scored the very next drive, it almost makes up for that dropped INT.

I understand that that had we not scored a TD on the ensuing drive, that dropped INT would have been a much bigger deal.

You're right, I realized that after the fact. I was thinking of another video that shows the celebration from the front, it starts with them dancing to Buckeye Swag and then shows Carmen.

Thanks for the answer though, I have a degree from OSU and am working on another, and somehow did not know that song...

No problem. It sounds sooooooo good in East Lansing.

Right on. I went to Indy last year and endured that disappointment then got robbed and shot two days later, had to watch the Clemson game half conscious in the hospital and not really knowing what was going on (hardly remember it). This game was important to me, it absolutely was revenge, and it was probably the most satisfying win I've enjoyed in a long ass time. I'd like to return to Indy this year and bring a win home this time!

Well, that certainly puts losing a football game into perspective. Glad you recovered.

If you're looking for silver linings, this part was probably a blessing.

Anyway, this win did compensate for quite a few old wounds. Happy you were around to enjoy it.

Had we not missed the FG on the first drive, the score would have been 657-3

Holy shit. Two degrees from tOSU and quitting smoking?! You'll be an elitist prick in no time!
