I must admit that I'm tired of seeing FG kickers hitting 50+ yard FGs while we struggle sometimes with hitting 35 yd shots. This has to change.

I mean a lot of those kickers miss some short ones too. It's just they feel that over 45 yards is makeable while we're like I don't know I'd do that.

Would love to see them offer Bode Shoaps from Granville. Dude is college ready now and he's only a junior in high school. He absolutely blasts the ball and he's a good kid too - my son has mutual friends with him.

Admittedly I know nothing about this kid but the offer list definitely isn't inspiring. They definitely need a decent transfer kicker for 2026.

Yes the dude from Ball State, but considering he couldn't beat out Fielding for the job it's hard to have confidence there
