Per PSU Insider Ryan Snyder, borderline 5* OL Kevin Brown from Harrisburg, PA says he is planning on taking an OV to Ohio State and WVU. Dates still not finalized as he plays his games on Saturdays. Still committed to PSU, but everything is up in the air and he is “open”. If PSU does announce a hire before the early signing period, Brown made it clear that he’s still interested in PSU, as he’s been committed to them for over a year now.

I’ll do it position by position for you Hooverbad:
QB - done
RB - Amari Latimer looks to be the only target and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was in soon. Even with Wisconsin leadership backing Fickell for the rest of the season, he’s a dead man walking. Ohio State was in on Carsyn Baker as well but it remains to be seen if they get involved again with Napier fired from Florida. Things seemed to sour there at the end as he didn’t even take his planned OV.
WR - done
TE - remains to be seen, Birm believes evaluations will happen this week and you could see new targets emerge. There’s also a possibility Ohio State doesn’t take a TE at all this class.
OL - Kevin Brown is the big name to know from Penn State, Harrisburg needs to win their game on Friday and then his team has a bye week next weekend ahead of the playoffs. That will be an open weekend for him to take a visit and he wants to visit Ohio State. Could see him show up at the Penn State game. Micah Smith is the other name to know, will be a battle flipping him from UCLA as Texas is also involved now. Ohio State was already behind UCLA with their NIL package, they’ll definitely be behind Texas.
DL - Dre Quinn is the main target here, he takes his official visit for the UCLA game. Battling Miami and Texas for him. Staff has stayed in contact with Luke Wafle but I doubt anything happens there barring a collapse from USC.
LB - Elijah Littlejohn and Jadyn Williams are the targets, Williams will be harder to pull from Indiana. Littlejohn is planning a visit soon, visited Georgia this past weekend.

DB - Both remaining top targets, Jay Timmons and Danny Odem, will be at the Penn State game.

Ohio State football should try to flip these Florida commits with Billy Napier gone

There are a few players in the Gators class that might be interested in the Buckeyes

1) 4-star EDGE K.J. Ford
Ford might be the most coveted member of the Gators recruiting class should he decide to open things up again. Everyone needs a top-end pass rusher and the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder fits the bill as a guy that can be a stand-up rusher or put his hand in the ground as a traditional defensive end. You know Matt Patricia would love to have a versatile player like Ford to unleash on opposing quarterbacks. Ford has already taken an official visit to Columbus and the Buckeyes made his final group along with Florida, Alabama and Texas A&M. There's no doubt that Ohio State will be interested if the staff can get another shot at Ford.

2) 4-star DL Kendall Guervil
Anytime a high-end interior defensive lineman could be back on the market, all the big schools are going to be interested. Guervil is that guy and he has legitimate NFL upside. Ohio State might have to do some work here, as Texas and Georgia would likely be the schools to beat if Guervil were to open things up again. But expect the Buckeyes staff to at least reach out and gauge interest.

3) 4-star RB Carsyn Baker
Ohio State offered Baker, a 6-foot, 200-pound back from the Atlanta area, last summer, and he has the kind of speed/power combination that fits well in the Buckeyes' offense. Baker has only taken official visits to Florida and FSU, so there is a possibility that he could have widespread interest if he opens up his recruitment.
