Instate QB, Top 110 player according to ON3. Having an unbelievable season
Possibly our 2026 guy but a small note is he is one of the best baseball players in 2026 so maybe will look for a baseball school.

Oh this kid. He ain't playing football in college. This kid only plays football to keep his arm loose for baseball. He was rumored to have been recruited to Moeller for Baseball, but family wanted him to play football. And he ended up beating out the kid who transferred to Withrow with CHjr last year as a freshman. He's currently the #1 baseball player in OH, and top 10 in the country, and throws upwards of 96mph at 16yo!

But, but, but....tOSU has a baseball team! And a coach that says we could be great (again). Semi-seriously, haven't seen any recruit that has been able to maximize their position playing two sports, since Bo Jackson (as in 'Bo Knows'). Guess he's gotta figure his chances on getting to the bigs, in either sport, what the shelf life for his position might be, and where would he get noticed quicker. Don't want to postulate where that might be, but he might get an earlier shot at baseball with an arm like that. But, a golfing buddy played in Detroit system, and one day felt a tweak, and arm was dead, and the next week was working at a cheese factory here. Hope he makes the best decision for himself. Wherever it might be.

You're forgetting about Deion Sanders as well(playing in an NFL game and appearing in an MLB playoff game in the same day)...
But let's be honest, if fully healthy, his shelf life in baseball is far longer with less punishment on your body. But the arm risk will always be there.

Russell Wilson. Kyler Murray.

There are all sorts of guys who were great at baseball in college but are going for the higher early pay days in the NFL.

And tOSU's own Twylone Malone, trying to play both baseball and football at Auburn. Not entirely certain what happened there, but didn't see the field or diamond either. Don't believe he even 'tried out' for baseball in Buckeyeland. Lots of talented guys that play baseball, moreso than football. I guess competing at such a high level, even a small tweak can sideline a career. Never had to make that call, so still wish him well, whatever he chooses.
