A look at the reshuffled Ohio State 2026 Top Targets by position
With the 2025 recruiting season winding down for the Buckeyes, it's a good time to look at our Bucknuts 2026 Ohio State Top Targets. The coaches have been hosting prospects on game-day visits for the 2024 season (with two home games to go), and now Bucknuts has reshuffled our 2026 Ohio State Top Targets list.
The Buckeyes currently have two commitments for their 2026 class, 5-star wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. and fellow wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts.
Bucknuts has done more work and made a number of additions to the Ohio State 2026 Top Targets in the database and today we look at those Top Targets broken down by position.
Bucknuts goes by position and looks at our current Ohio State 2026 Top Targets.
QUARTERBACK
With the Ohio State quarterback room currently in great shape in terms of talent and numbers it remains to be seen if the Buckeyes sign a 2026 quarterback. At this point, we have just one 2026 quarterback on our Top Targets list. Jared Curtis is interested in Ohio State again. In fact, he plans to be at the Indiana at Ohio State game. And Curtis is simply too talented to turn down if he were to decide he wants to be a Buckeye.
RUNNING BACK
The Buckeyes have commitments from two 2025 running backs in Bo Jackson and Isaiah West and could flip Alabama commitment Anthony Rogers. They also may look for an experienced running back in the Transfer Portal. But two of the country's elite 2026 running backs visited Ohio State last weekend, Savion Hiter and Derrek Cooper and they are on our 2026 Top Targets list.
WIDE RECEIVER
The Buckeyes are off to a great start here with the commitments of Henry and Ricketts. But there are a half dozen wide receivers on our Top Targets list, including Devin Carter, Madden Williams, Kayden Dixon-Wyatt and Brody Keefe.
TIGHT END
Keenan Bailey has recruited this position well and will look to add at least one and possibly two 2026 tight ends to the program. Corbyn Fordham was at Ohio State for the third time last weekend and his interest in the Buckeyes is high. Other top tight ends that are definitely looking at Ohio State include Brock Harris, Lincoln Keyes and Heze Kent.
OFFENSIVE LINEMEN
The Buckeyes will make every effort to land high-level 2026 offensive line talent, especially at tackle. Leading the way for priority targets are Maxwell Riley (guard or tackle) and Sam Greer from in-state and Adam Guthrie is another Ohio offensive tackle on the list. From out of state, Jackson Cantwell, Immanuel Iheanacho and Ben Nichols are tackles on our list. Darius Gray, Da'Ron Parks and Micah Smith are offensive linemen who are definitely interested in the Buckeyes. And Felix Ojo is also on our Top Targets list.
