2026 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

CORBYN FORDHAM EARNS AN OFFER FROM OSU

Ohio State has offered its second tight end in the 2026 recruiting class. Florida prospect Corbyn Fordham picked up an offer from OSU tight ends coach Keenan Bailey on Friday, making him the only other tight end prospect besides Xavier Tiller to earn a Buckeyes offer in that cycle.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Fordham doesn’t hold a 247Sports composite ranking as of yet, but holds 13 Division I offers, including Georgia, Florida State, Liberty, Louisville, Memphis, NC State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina and Tennessee.

So Kurelic really typed in Avon for all those kids from Akron Hoban. Poor editing mistake for BuckNuts

Guess Day & Co, plus Chip now, has got to plant their/our flag with all these Ohioians. Also Pantoni must identify any and all youngsters that may blow up during the season, so they don't get miffed that tOSU bypassed them on their original net. No pressure there, uh, Mark? It's been awhile since there were this many 'gets' within our borders, have no idea what the talking heads think of them nationally, but as the BP readers have continuously opined, "there's something special about an Ohio kid". Agree to that, and hope that Chip still has some juice to go recruiting for some stud pieces for the Buckeyes. We'll see. Go Bucks!

I will gladly take No.'s 1-5 and what would be pretty much an all Ohio OL. Special powers on steroids.

New Top 100 Rivals rankings for the '26 class:

1. DT Jahkeem Stewart
3. WR Chris Henry Jr
6. LB Tyler Atkinson
12. WR Aaron Gregory
13. QB Brady Smigiel
14. RB Savion Hiter
16. OT Maxwell Riley
21. WR Jabari Brady
40. QB Jared Curtis
72. QB Will Griffin
74. OT Sam Greer
82. ATH Jett Washington
86. OT Micah Smith
The thing I’m most excited for in the ‘26 class is OSU having a very real shot at 2 OTs FROM OH! And if they can land 1 of the 3 on this list, then it just continues OSU’s insane run on QBs

Same here, Greer and Riley are absolutely legit and we're strong favorites. Ohio is pumping out OL right now and at the right time for our program. Plus Lowe in '25, and a slew of others before that. Big advantage having the home grown talent to fill out our OL.

Just tuned in, and glad I did. You've answered my question, 'where's the beef', with capital letters. If tOSU gets an all-Ohio OL of these kids, I'll probably fall to my knees weeping with joy. I harken back to the Woody days, and have never seen such a dearth of big 'uns at THE Ohio State. Gladdened to see one OT recruit mentioning that tOSU is noted for 'bookend tackles' (brought a smile to my face), so hopefully the results on the gridiron this year will prove out that Buckeyeland is the place to be. Wonder how Chip and Frye will work together, as Kelley recommended Frye to Day. Go Bucks!
