looks fantastic but i will say Eli Lee has an OFFER and theres no way he isnt in this classFollowing what seems to be a banner recruiting weekend reading the impact the PSU game had on recruits, here comes RB07OSU's way too early class prediction for 2025:
QB: Tavien St. Clair (no need for another QB in this class, he is it)
RB: Marquise Davis (if he wants to be the only RB in the class, that might take him off this list)
RB: Lamar Jackson (I see the number being two and the OOS guys are trending elsewhere)
WR: Jayvan Boggs (he should be a top 100 overall guy when the class is complete)
WR: Naeshaun Montgomery (we appear to have a solid lead and he is a top priority)
WR: Daylan McCutcheon (great prospect and teammate of Pierce in TX, we look to be in a strong position...want to put Ffrench here but not enough smoke to be fire quite yet)
TE: Luka Gilbert (very skilled prospect but might grow into an OT imo...he will be a commitment before the fall next year...we are going to pursue Nate Roberts hard though and would most definitely take him if we can land him...very much reminds me of Stover in about every category)
OL: Carter Lowe (matter of when, not if...top OL in Ohio for this class)
OL: Avery Gach (sincerely believe we are the leader here and with Lowe that would give us two great bookend OTs)
OL #3-5: There are plenty of OOS offers but nobody I feel confident in calling for this class...we will pursue Sanders Jr. and Petty hard, but I don't see them leaving the south
DE: Brandon Caesar (seems underrated and if he has an OFFER, I would expect a commitment)
DE: Max Granville (appears to be legit interest and super athlete...DL recruiting for this class is super unclear at the moment though)
DE: Maxwell Roy (PA kid that seems to have legit interest and visited for the Maryland game, I think we likely want 3 DE's and perhaps Hill ends up at DE, but a name to watch)
DT: Amare Adams (probably a longshot, but not many other names at DT)
DT: Brandon Brown (same as Adams)
LB: Justin Hill (might have Bama give us some competition, but I expect him to be a Buckeye)
LB: Madden Faraimo (super talented LB from Cali and we are looking like the clear leader after his visit this weekend)
LB: Elijah Mendez (another great LB prospect that Lil Animal looks primed to get to Columbus...talk of 4 LBs so I am adding Mendez in)
LB: Eli Lee (I think he rounds out the class, though I am not convinced he is in the class if some other OOS targets want in)
CB: Blake Woodby (solid commit, top 100 guy and thrilled to have him....see him as a great slot CB)
CB: Devin Sanchez (finally ready to call him to the good guys, always felt like he would be the typical southern CB that either stays home or goes with Bama...but I think we have long-held relationships that win the day here and with the DB success we are having, it helps seal the deal...he is candid in his interviews and it is clear we are going to be tough to beat)
CB: Dorian Brew (when, not if...really confident we have a CB class of Brew, Sanchez and Woodby, which should be the best in the country...adding those 3 to Mathews, CSH, Scott, West and Lockhart is going to make a ridiculously talented CB room)
S: Trey McNutt (another when and not if imo, really great safety prospect in our back yard)
S: Faheem Delane (not going to declare great confidence here, but I do think we are in a solid spot with one of the best safeties in the nation)
- Obviously it is super early and that list will likely look different in the spring. I wouldn't be surprised to see only 3 LBs and the extra spot going to DB instead.
That a very large gap between the two! If possible, just give me both and call it a class11W Forums
Interesting thing to watch.
In the new Top247 rankings release today Bo Jackson moved up 106 sports to be #103 overall and Marquise Davis is unranked and moved down 3 spots in Ohio to the #11 player in Ohio.
Birm is of the opinion that the gap between Jackson and Davis is large and that Davis is clearly the top back in Ohio but 247 does not even remotely agree.
