I believe it is Birm who has said that Bolden and his mom favor Ohio State while other people in his family favor shopping around for the biggest NIL bag possible (which, if rumors are true, makes Bama the biggest competitor over Georgia). So, what has Birm seen/heard that has him changing his CB from UGA to tOSU?

Birm must feel like the initial preference ultimately wins out over the big upfront NIL offers, especially because Ohio State is taking a backseat to no one for star player NIL earnings, and ultimately NFL cash—basically Ohio State is more appealing for kids who bet on themselves and expect to start at Ohio State and make more money long term than they would taking the bigger up front offer.
Knowles probably had a pretty strong pitch to make for how a safety can excel in his system, which hopefully helps as well.
The rumor is that Ohio State is offering low six figures up front for players, while no one can top what the star players get as starters.I know OSU's important established player NIL is strong, but I was under the impression that the up front NIL packages are much stronger than last year.
FWIW, Birm did say a few weeks ago that the staff was more worried about Alabama than they were Georgia. I don't know if that's still the case.(which, if rumors are true, makes Bama the biggest competitor over Georgia).
I've seen where Georgia has basically decided that Ohio State's approach is the correct one and that's what they're doing as well.Ohio State’s model seems vastly superior, not the least because it is sustainable, but it still leaves room for programs to outbid the initial numbers if they are desperate enough.
I thought we weren't doing guaranteed money up front? The rumor is that Ohio State is offering low six figures up front for players, while no one can top what the star players get as starters.
That still leaves programs like Miami, Texas A&M, Tennessee to go crazy with unsustainable initial up front offers that are over seven figures.

I believe that was the general idea for last year’s class, which is why there’s more optimism for closing strong this time around.I thought we weren't doing guaranteed money up front?
I guess if we've found the honey hole might as well bring home all the players we need.
I can't access the link. What is the story?Brian Robinsons dad went full on rage at the Fitch coach. Hope Brian finds success at his new school, but not sure if this strengthens his case to be a Buckeye

The son either got kicked off the football team or maybe out of school and the dad went after the football coach in a curse-filled Facebook rant.I can't access the link. What is the story?
To add on, Birm mentioned that two ways Ohio State is not currently openly cheating to match their competition in the NIL space is paying for unofficial visits and making payments immediately (versus when the players are officially on the team and on campus). I’d imagine this is particularly true for family members and all of the random uncles that emerge as influence peddlers in recruitments. The rumor is that Ohio State is offering low six figures up front for players, while no one can top what the star players get as starters.
