2023 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

The 5 stars announced:

1. LA QB Arch Manning (we offered, likely no chance he leaves the south)
2. CA QB Malachi Nelson (OU commit)
3. TX DE David Hicks (going to be a battle but with LJ Sr and hopefully a big year for our DEs, we are in the mix)
4. FL WR Brandon Inniss (looked promising early, but odds are he stays south)
5. IA OT Kadyn Proctor (we are a contender, but I will believe an Iowa OL doesn't end up a Hawkeye when I see it)
6. OH ATH Alex "Sonny" Styles (will be us or ND most likely, but I currently like our chances)
7. GA DE Lebbeus Overton (he's visited and seems enamored with LJ Sr, but will be a tough pull from the south)

ARCH MANNING IS THE NEW NO. 1
Much deliberation went into the decision to push five-star quarterback Arch Manning to the No. 1 spot. What we continued going back to was the strength of the top of this quarterback class with Manning, five-star Malachi Nelson (2) -- an Oklahoma pledge -- and Nicholaus Iamaleava (5), who ascended to five-star status with this update and into the top five.

Arch Manning = 24/7 rating of 0.9999

Just sayin': So far Oklahoma recruiting is looking real good in the 2023 class. However, signing day is a long way off and a lot can change.
