James Franklin is in Medina tonight to catch Drew Allar's last home game. For some reason Franklin had to fly in via helicopter, causing the high school to close off a bunch of parking in order to accommodate. Hopkins Airport is probably a 25 minute drive to Medina. Maybe it's just standard procedure nowadays, but I doubt Franklin really saved a lot of time by getting that helicopter. Or was this just a big production to impress Allar? Maybe Franklin is worried about just how solid Allar's commitment is?

My money would be on Franklin trying to make an impression; hopefully the wrong one for many given the unnecessary inconvenience it sounds like his theatrics caused.

I've seen Brian Kelly take a helicopter to Colerain and St. X games... when he was coaching at UC! This is definitely meant to be a spectacle
