2021 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

I’m not picking on anyone...so please don’t take it that way...but this Clemson meltdown across the Ohio State fanbase has been one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen. After this weekend people are acting like there’s this massive gap and questioning Ohio State’s methods. We basically have the same class, but since they got 4 guys off a Junior day rather than spread out it’s panic time. It’s everywhere. Every site. Since we’re not the best, something’s wrong.

Like @mendensa said, Day and company will consistently bring in top 5 classes which is more than enough to compete with anyone.

Agree. I'm just here hating on Clemson completely consistently, patiently waiting for Dabo to fall into a pit or something.

Sorry, Dabo seems to be the 'Teflon man' in that nothing sticks to him. No rumblings of NCAA investigations anymore, etc. No, he's got his machine perking along on all eight cylinders. He might be there for awhile. AND if Bama came calling, I'd believe he would turn them down, given everything that he's got going for him in South Carolina. Hope Ryan day can emulate him when it's his turn......go Bucks!

My personal opinion on some other guys (can’t wait to fall on my face on some of these):

Tuimoloau: I think he stays out West. Washington or Oregon.

Adeleye: Just not feeling it. Guessing Georgia or Bama.

Grimes: I think Coombs has us back in it, but Georgia or Clemson win out.

Edwards: His coach is pushing Michigan, and I think he buys into the return to greatness stuff.

Egbuka: I think this is one of those recruitments that looks great for us at the beginning, then slowly trends away. Bama? Clemson? Georgia?

Payne: As others have said, I don’t think he’s as high on Ohio State’s list as he once was.

Spindler: Notre Dame

Shipley: Clemson

Leigh: Somewhere in the SEC or Clemson

Barett Carter Crystal Balled to Georgia today by Clemson Insider. Wonder how that affects Hancock?

I sincerely hope he and his support system are smarter than that. Even if he doesn’t end up at OSU, he can make a better decision for his future.

Looking at Harbaugh, looking at the history of coaches going into their 6th year (without any major, or minor, accomplishments in their first five), looking at their coaching staff, and looking at their recruiting classes, they’ll be pretty fortunate to tread water for the next few years.

Anybody buying (or selling) any "return to greatness" BS for scUM deserves to waste away in mediocrity.
