2018 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

2018

LT Prince | Alabi
LG Jordan | Davis
OC Taylor| Burrell
RG Knox | Myers
RT Bowen | Munford

Others: Feder?, Cupp, Wohlabaugh, Jones

Could also be RT Munford, LG Davis. Burrell could start, lots of options here

2019

LT Munford
LG Jordan
OC Burrell | Jones
RG Davis | Myers
RT Bowen | Wray

They shouldn't lose more than 1 of Jordan, Bowen to the draft after 2018, giving them 3 good options at OT ignoring any youngsters like Wray.

Oh and btw, this projected depth chart has a gaggle of top DTs lining up inside after years of watching them go to the south.

2018

Bosa | (Dre'mont) | Smith
Young | Cooper

2019

Young | Smith
Cooper |
Depth: Williams, Harrison, Stover, 2018 surprise, 2019 stud

2020

Smith | Harrison
Williams | Stover

What are our Oweh odds now?
He's been a PSU lean for awhile and folks I trust predicted that outcome for the past few days. He's also supposedly signing today in private and announcing later, so there may not be any chance to make up ground after this.

I'm curious to see where the dust settles. Someone useful is going to emerge unsigned.

Exactly.

The only B1G program even in the same zip code recruiting-wise right now is ped aggy, and I think they have a harsh reality facing them losing Moorhead. I think his ability as an OC had a lot more to do with their success than anything else the past two seasons.

Big drop off at QB after McSorely leaves for them too. Not getting Justin Fields hurts big time for them

Tommy Stevens. Sean Clifford and this year some low 3* from Connecticut I've never heard of. Is what they will be working with as things stand right now. Unless they land a big time QB next year who they think can start right away.

There's a significant difference between mentioning a coach's age and saying the guy's not going to be around on a couple years...but if you can't see that, well then I can't help you.
Blame the kid for being dumb enough to fall for it, not the coach for saying it.

This will be moot when Dabo goes to Alabama in 3 years.

What I love about this is they can concentrate on the Bowl win now and really pinpoint a couple Big Time recruits left to fill positions of need without worrying about the kids already signed. 5 more kids with the full court press on them for 2 months could really uncover a hidden gem. Even if we sign no one else, this class is awesome.

If you're getting your panties in a bunch over a coach telling a kid sometbing to secure his committment and signature, then I can't help you either. And recruiting is something you shouldn't follow

Calling out bullshit recruiting tactics is not "getting your panties in a bunch". And I'll continue to follow recruiting seeing as we do shit the right way...

OK... You keep those scarlet colored glasses on tiger:roll1:
OSU recruits the same way as any other team. But you believe what you want. OSU is in a "gentlemen's agreement" in your head I guess :roll2:
