Brian is an east coast guy.
Not happening per him:I'd add to the discussion former Buckeye commit Andrew Chatfield at DE, as he's going to be on campus on Friday
Also, gotta think the staff would take/find room for one of either Solomon Tuliaupupu or Palaie Gaoteote at LB if they want in
^^^THIS^^^Hopefully two of each. I hear the number is 24 but maybe we can squeeze 25 with the transfer of Hawkins.
Jack Carmen
Tyreek Smith
Jayson Oweh
Rasheed Walker or Culver
saw something today that says we might take over 25 guys....^^^THIS^^^
Absolutely.
That would be an incredible finish. I know that leaves out the WR team mate of Babb though and I know many have penciled him in. But to me I’d MUCH rather 2 guys for each side of the line without hesitation. Blue Smith, Gill, and Babb will do just fine for me this cycle.

I come up with the same number using our own grid:Speaking of the 25 thing...
By my quick count off the 11W class grid, after hawkins departure they would have to clear 10 spots between NFL draft and "other"
That seems like a lot

I also recall all of the wailing and gnashing of teeth last season because there was no way we could fit everyone into the class. In the end we had two extra schollies to give to senior walk-ons.
No argument that seems like a lot, but we brought in a class of 21 last season with a senior class of FOUR.No doubt they'll get there but 10 guys is almost as many as were in the entire SR class
How many sure thing NFL guys 3-4?
Going to be some roster clearing

Seems like you have mastered that black magic called math. I’m superstitious of it myself.Yeah. Looking closer, there are 9 guys who were Rs Jr's this year and of those only Hubbard is a sure thing NFL guy.
Another 18 were RS Sophs this year so many could be close to graduating there as well.
That's a big pool of guys who may just move on to the next phase of their lives once they have their degree.
Add in the NFL guys and 10 seems easier. Still a lot of roster turnover between 13 SR's and 10 others. That is 27%
