tOSU Recruiting Discussion

247 is hurting itself by not having boots on the ground outside of the South.

The Bank always said there was no substitute for seeing a kid live in person. I agree, but I also don't do this for a living.

Even 247's Midwest guys rely on looking at highlight films and occasionally seeing kids at camps/combines. If you're paid to rank kids you shouldn't be doing it from your basement.

With Collier making it official we are down to 13 in the Junior class - which seems to be a trend under Urban. With guys like Baker, Ward and Hubbard in that group we will almost certainly be looking at a single digit senior class for 2018.

So with 2 WRs on the board and on visits right now, those in the know, which one would you prefer in this offense?
I see both as having a lot of talent to make noise, but personally after finally looking at both films, I'd prefer Martin(though that takes nothing away from Robinson who I'd take in a heartbeat). IMO, Martin does what is most important in this offense, and that's get open. His game is built upon route running, fighting off of the line, finding open space and is able to beat you in the middle of the field or going over the top of a defense. Its almost like the defense forgot about Dane and then he has the ball wide open and is moving chains or getting a big gain, and that's the same with Martin. And he also has sneaky speed, that he can pull away from defenders if they're lulled to sleep by him gashing them in space.
With Robinson, I see a big physical WR, who will need the ball a lot to get him involved in the offense. He's a big fighter for the ball in the air, and will fight DBs and LBs for an extra yard(a la Dez Bryant, like @RB07OSU mentioned in his thread). His game reminds of what we already have committed in Harris, but IMO Harris has a little better speed. Again, it's just my opinion, and I'm open to others' as well
