Two names that are going to be talked about the most, I'm guessing, are Trey Smith and Thayer Munford. Smith is visiting for The Game, but he seems likely to end up at Tennessee.

Munford seems to be a guy whose stock is rising and he's an Ohio kid. Might be the staff's best bet if they are looking to pursue another OT in this class.

I like the idea of an Ohio kid. Word on the street is that they have special powers.

Zero chance on Smith but Munford will get a long look. I would not be surprised to see the spot filled up with other positions though. I see both Okudah and Bolden as "IN." Bolden alone added a number to this class that might have complicated the Morretti situation. Then I think we are sitting in excellent shape with Browning right now. Akers I think is out. I also would not be surprised to see us try to bring on another DT if possible...Tufele looks like a long shot though he is my preference, but the staff seems to like Joshua Paschal from Maryland and he could project at DT. I would be more than ok with that. My guess at what our class looks like com NLOID:

QB: Tate Martell
RB: JK Dobbins
WR: Trevon Grimes
WR: Tyjon Lindsey
OL: Josh Myers
OL: Wyatt Davis
OL: Thayer Munford (I believe he gets in)
DT: Haskell Garrett
DT: Jerron Cage
DT: Joshua Paschal (we like him and ND is having an awful year)
DE: Chase Young
LB: Brendon White
LB: Antjuan Simmons
LB: Barron Browning (love where we sit, just need to close strong)
DB: Shaun Wade
DB: Isaiah Pryor
DB: Amier Riep
DB: Marcus Williamson
DB: Jeffrey Okudah (can almost put his name in red)
DB: Bubba Bolden (matter of when, not if)

- That would be a downright ridiculous class and fairly likely imo. That class would put us at 20 and I think that would be a good number. However, I do think we could get up to the 21-22 mark and that leaves us a little wiggle room if we really wants someone in. Obviously Akers falls in that category and who knows, a great visit for The Game might sway him. Jaylen Harris is another guy that I love and I know he would wait until NLOID so the staff can determine if we have room...if we do find room, I would put him in, to good to let him leave the state. Josh Falo at TE is another guy I know we really like and the interest seemed mutual for a time...issue obviously is that we took 3 TE's last year, so I say wait until 2018 to snag a really good one. Hines had a good visit but I see him committing to A&M soon and not really a concern if we get Browning. And finally, with our class pretty much set and few guys left on the board, I think you will see the staff go all out for Trey Smith and Marvin Wilson even though are chances are slim...Wilson we could potentially pull an upset on though, he is still visiting for The Game as far as I know and there is real interest, we would just have to knock it out of the park.
