In a class that already has Jalin Marshall and Ezekiel Elliott in it, I don't get why people are so giddy about a playmaker who wouldn't be lining up outside, when we only have two lineman in the class for a team that isn't exactly bursting at the seams with them as it is. All the playmakers in the world won't amount to a hill of beans if we don't have some earth movers up front.

I will go back to JTs classification of Speed, Big Speed and Power.
Joe6809;2294031; said:I don't think so. According to the scholarship count, we have 8 lineman who don't graduate next year, and 2 of those are transfer candidates. We have 2 lineman committed in this class. That means that we'll have 8 guys filling 5 positions, at a spot that is renown for injuries. I think a lot of people are counting on the fact that Urban can read the future, and knows that each and every one of these kids is going to pan out.

My predicted finish is Wilson and Hunt.
But let's see what happens this weekend first. Not convinced Smith is out yet.

Joe6809;2294036; said:Ah, didn't know Munger was a candidate for the switch. That definitely helps pad things a little. I just hate the idea of going into a season more or less keeping your fingers crossed that the best case scenario is the outcome, and we don't have to sub out any of our lineman.
Hard for me to disagree but I am really thrown by all the offers to true WR's if the staff isn't placing a premium on landing one. Only thing that makes sense is that indeed 3 more spots are in the works. Same story could be applied to the Robinsons and an OT.wadc45;2294042; said:Still going with this.
