tOSU @ Penn State, Sat Oct 29, 12pm, FOX

Who thinks that sometimes, OSU hold's back and can just take over at any time?

Such as we can certainly let shit fly and put a quick score up there. But let's F around a little and show stuff to other teams that may confuse them down the road.

I am starting to think that may be the case in certain regards.

It seems like when Day releases the horses, it comes easy.

We just need the D, which we got this year.

It happens consistently in big games and particularly vs teams who have strong defenses. Day isn't holding back more than he's just showing too much respect to teams.

Ryan has flat out better players than nearly all the teams in football and sometimes I just think he forgets that. Starts way too conservative and takes way too long to get aggressive (3 quarters vs ND/Iowa/Penn State).

That premise kind of proves my point.

I think he is kind of mudding it up a bit.

He know's how to score with this team, and does when he let's it rip.

I choose to give Day credit.

I think the issue last year is he didn't have a D. He can kind of mix it up this year.

If that is the case I hope he abandons
that tactic for, “The Game.” We need to put a stomping on those damn skunk weasels that they will not soon forget. Let them celebrate their September Heismans. Come November we end their damn booodline! Put up a signature win and remind them of their true place in the world: ground to dust beneath our cleats!!

So you think he's running shit plays for 3-3.5 quarters of a game against our toughest opponent to date because he's playing 3D chess with everyone? C'mon man.

You got BBQ back there?
Blood thirsty!
Whaooooooo!

I’ll take Gus in the booth pretty much any day for that kind of fun. Watch a game on NBC or CBS… Gus is a fun listen in comparison to anyone else. I do like Klatt with him too. It’s a nice pairing.

Exactly. I like Gus way more than most out there right now and just have to remind myself if things aren't going well to take his enthusiasm for what it is, which is genuine excitement during big moments imo. Listening to him I don't get a sense of favoritism in really any game, in fact I had no idea he was a ttun guy until someone on here pointed that out. And then Klatt is just on top of his shit and knows the game, so great pairing.

Also, we get 44 points and who balls out and rightfully gets all the headlines? #44. Coincidence I think not.

What poem was that from? It was quite lovely and want to make sure I have it handy for future reference, at both weddings and funerals, or really any occasion.

Just think what it must feel like to be Clifford. The guy should be living out his "golden years" in quiet peaceful repose and yet he is still giving his all trying to help them win, yet all he gets is being shit on by their fans.
I could go out and give it my all in the stock market......doesn't mean I should be rewarded for not knowing what the fuck I'm doing.
