I think he gets stuck on his own rhetoric at times, but even the best ones have done that. To the same point, he can stop trying to coin "the world famous Ohio State" and "American girl Jenny Taft" stuff. But overall I really enjoy his energy alongside Klatt's actual knowledge of the game.

I like Klatt doing the games. He has good commentary, but he also has some great play break downs during the week. Really knows his shit and shows it. Isn’t just saying the same things over and over again like I’m used to. Gus, I could care less. He’s alright and nothing against him. Doesn’t annoy the hell out of me.

I’ll take Gus in the booth pretty much any day for that kind of fun. Watch a game on NBC or CBS… Gus is a fun listen in comparison to anyone else. I do like Klatt with him too. It’s a nice pairing.

I saw UG throw those bubble screens that didn't work for us. It seemed to work for them.
If done right, it can be effective. It just wasn't working or executed good today. Maybe it never will. May be just a personnel thing with OSU just not executing it well.

We’ve seen them execute it before. Problem is, PSU was dialed in on it and waiting for it all day, every time. Didn’t seem to stop the staff from calling it consistently, though.

Just an extension of our rush game which is just stale overall right now. There's so many ways to run the ball with counters, pulls, stretch, ISO and reads. Then with bubble passes you can do that out of 2 or 3 WR sets, out of bunch and even involve pulling lineman if going boundary. That's not even mentioning tunnel passes or swing passes that break inside (instead of getting stretched toward the sideline).
