Game Thread tOSU @ Maryland, Oct 4th @ 12pm ET, ABC

After looking at all of Maryland's games with the stats and everything etc I'm really at peace with this game. They gave close to 600 yards to Syracuse (598, 360 on the ground) and WV lit them up for close to 700 (500+ throwing!). Also add that to 180 yards rushing to JMU and 208 to Indiana and the more I look at it the more I think we could really put a hurting on.

Bottom line is they WIN games but it's the way they do it that makes me feel we can win walking away. They win with special team TDs and turnovers. I know we can contain them on special teams so I feel as long as we don't let them break a ST play and as long as don't turn the ball over we should be more than fine

Hadn't done my research yet and that is interesting...if we can win despite a shoot-out, I feel good. I think the offense is gelling well overall and we know our strengths. That could be deadly to a limping MD defense, especially on the ground. I was worried about the home-field advantage but if we are helping sell out the stadium, I like us even more.

41-20 for the good guys.

Yep I don't believe in coincidence. First sell out in 6 years? Most likely it's due to us having a good base of fans on hand for the game.
